Classes are held in various locations convenient to students. Classroom delivery of curriculum is mobile due to the nature of the co-op work study requirements. Various locations include but are not limited to:

Vancouver Class Locations:

• YWCA Vancouver: 4th Floor - 535 Hornby Street, Vancouver, BC. Click here for classroom photo(s).
• SFU Harbour Center : 515 West Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC.

Whistler Class Locations:

• Main Classrooms: 201 - 4000 Whistler Way, Whistler, BC. Click here for classroom photo(s).
• Maurice Young Millennium Place, 4335 Blackcomb Way, Whistler, BC.

 

SSILS schedules its Whistler classroom usage as follows:

1. Based on the number of students enrolled and studying, all classes are at Unit 201 – 4000 Whistler Way.  You may go into unit 201 (Whistler Wired Ltd.) and speak with the front desk receptionist;
2. When there are more students enrolled and studying than Unit 201 – 4000 Whistler Way is able to hold, then the second location that may be used is the Whistler Chamber of Commerce board room at 201 – 4230 Gateway Drive;
3. When there are more students enrolled and studying than the first two locations can handle, or the Chamber of Commerce facility is not available, SSILS would rent space at the Maurice Yong Millennium Place at 4335 Blackcomb Way.

SSILS schedules its Vancouver classroom usage as follows:

1. Based on the number of students enrolled and studying, SSILS schedules all classes at 610 Granville boardrooms.  If you wish to view the boardrooms you must make an appointment.  Staff will not tolerate class interruptions from unscheduled walk-ins.    
2. When there are more students enrolled and studying than 610 Granville is able to hold, then the second location that may be used is YWCA Vancouver: 4th Floor - 535 Hornby Street and/or SFU Harbour Center: 515 West Hastings Street.
